took these at 2007 Junior US Nationals at HP. in the first pic,you can see Jordyn and Kamerin in the orange and Kamerin is the one on UB.
the last picture has Rebecca Bross in the red and gold leo. she won this comp.
i really hope/want Sacramone,Nastia and Rebecca Bross to put out biographies. i feel like they’d each have really interesting stories to read about. Sac and Nast could possibly do this as they’re sorta mainstream…but it’d be so sick but prolly not likely if Bross did too….man,i hope she comes back for 1 more year. i haven’t started Jordyn’s mom book yet but i think it’ll prolly be pretty good/decent. what am i saying? i’ll read just about any gymnastics book out there(actually,i WILL read any gym book out there, baha).
also, can we have 6 gymnasts on the Worlds team next year?! like can we please? i’ve asked this before cuz i can’t remember but is that a FIG rule or an Olympic Committee rule because if it’s an Olympic rule,i say in between Games, let us have 6!

yelled SO hard for her after this! she deserved a standing ovation after this. damn, her luck :/.
ROAD TO LONDON: Three-peat
I’ll admit it, I did not like this girl when she first cam on the scene. It wasn’t because of her gymnastics, I was just too invested in Rebecca Bross who turned senior right after the Beijing Games. I watched as she paid her dues while Jordyn just seemed to win everything. Since then Jo has really grown on me and I can truly appreciate her style and what she brings to the floor. Yes people, she does hit her splits.
At the 2011 American Cup Jordyn won Gold over the reigning World Champion. She went on to become the National Champ and then edged out Viktoria Komova in the AA at Worlds. By then, NBC was all over her bandwagon. She, in many ways, is the new Shawn Johnson or Golden Child of American gymnastics while Rebecca’s tossed aside like her WOGA teammate.
&& We all know how that story ended in 2008.
In London, Jordyn Wieber will want history on her side but won’t want a repeat. She’ll be looking to continue the United State’s winning streak against a strong All-Around field and to put an end to any talks of a WOGA three-peat.
missmegs6:i feel like Jordyn has been around sooo long! I saw her at the 2007 Nationals for the first time(she got 2nd or 3rd behind Rebecca Bross ;),see they have been around almost the same amount of time :) ). and i just kept thinking she’s so good and so little and she has so much longer to go until she’s a senior and can compete in the Olympics and i hoped she wouldn’t turn into a Kristal Uzelac who competed in 3 Jr Nats and not one full Senior Nats. and she’s happily surprised me and i’m so glad. fingers crossed that her body holds up all next year into the summer! i really think O.Trials are gonna be a great showdown! :)
