15. Bridget Sloan - 2009 Worlds - All Around
Before the 2009 Worlds, I thought Bridget was kind of forgettable. I didn’t think there was anything really special about her. When I saw her at Worlds, I found something I liked about her: her form. I loved that she didn’t cross her legs when she twisted, and the double pike in her routine was one of the cleanest I’d ever seen. She rightfully deserved the World all-around title.
One night over the summer, my sister and I went on this four times in a row. It was pretty late and completely empty because everyone was at the last showing of Fantasmic that night. Every once in a while, one of the floats would pass by or a firework would shoot off. Personally, I think that’s the best way to ride Splash Mountain.
